Christmas trees from the Forest of Dean arrive for dispatch from Grange Court in the 1930’s.  Freight was the backbone of traffic at the station until the last years before closure.  At the time this pictures were taken (for an article in the GWR staff magazine) the station was handling about 6000 tons per annum.
